| Steve Hayden—Chief Flight Instructor | Michael Foy-Assistant Chief Flight Instructor |
| Steve earned a BS in Aeronautical Science and an
Associates in Business Administration. Steve currently works for DHL
where he started as a flight engineer and then Air Transport
Instructor on the Boeing 727 for a few years and now is a first
officer in the Airbus A300 which is a wide body heavy jet with a max
gross take off weight of 360,000lbs. The Airbus flies
internationally and domestic. Steve currently holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and has over 16,000 hours of flight time in everything from ultra lights, helicopters and seaplanes to turbo props and heavy jets.

Michael Foy is a prominent attorney in Springfield,
MA. Mike also teaches Aviation Law and History at Westfield State
College. You may have seen him around campus. As well as being a
certified flight instructor, Mike holds a Commercial Pilot’s License
with a multi engine rating. Mike is an owner or Five Star Flight
Academy and has maintained his enthusiasm for fly over 30 years.
